2 fl oz Vodka

                             1 fl oz Kina Lillet or Lillet Blanc

Glassware: Martini Glass

Instructions: Fill your shaker with ice. Add the Gin, Vodka and Kina. Shake well until it is well chilled. Serve.

Garnish: Thin Slice of Lemon Peel.

Notes:  One of my personal favorites. All the way from Ian Fleming’s James Bond. Presented on both hollywood versions of Casino Royale.

                            2.0 fl oz   club soda

                             6.0 fl oz orange juice

Glassware: Lowball glass

Instructions: Add rum, soda and finally orange juice. Fill glass with ice.

NOTES: One of my two original drinks.

There is always a question that people debate for some time: How much ICE should I put in my drink? This question can have many answers I’ll have to say the more the better.

When you are drinking on those horrible red or blue huge plastic cups I’ll highly recommend you to add about 3 fingers of ice or a little bit more. This will keep your drink cold for the longest time also it will make you avoid too much alcohol in your mix.

If you are drinking in an Anchor Hocking Glass or in a Tall Highball Glass is recommended to have 3/4 of the glass full of ice. Again, this to prevent excess in the ingredients specially adding the alcohol. This is very useful for long and tall glasses.

If you are drinking in an Old Fashioned Glass or in a Lowball Glass is extremely recommended to add just 1/2 of the glass full of ice. You should try to repeat this in every fat and short glass.

Remember NOT to add ICE to a BEER. That is just nasty and makes it even harder to drink. No drink with beer should ever have ICE. Beer should be poured cold and kept that way with a cold or frozen glass.

Shakers should be filled with 3/4 of ice to have a very chilly mix. This is very important for the drink to be extremely cold. Other mixers should be treated the same way.

Now that I have clarify and solved this important matter I command you to do the right thing and drink responsibly.

                    Fresh lime juice. 

Glassware: Anchor Hocking or Tall Highball Glass.

Instructions: Fill your glass with ice. First, add the lime juice. Next, add the Rum and Coke. Finally, stir hard.

Garnish: Lime slice. 

Notes: In the Spanish speaking countries we call this drink Cuba libre; however, in the English speaking countries this drink is known as Rum and Coke.

                     1 fl oz. Blue Curaçao

                      Lemonade

Glassware:   Anchor Hocking or Tall Highball Glass 

Instructions:  Fill your glass with ice and pour the Vodka and the Blue Curaçao. Fill the rest of your glass with lemonade.

Garnish: A lemon slice or a cherry.

Notes: This drink has a great impression in the female community specially for the color and the sweet taste.

                     3 fl oz. Rum

                     3 fl oz. Tequila

                     3 fl oz. Gin

                     3 fl oz. Curaçao 

                     12 fl oz. Sweet and Sour mix (about)

                     12 fl oz. 7-up (or to fill)

Glassware: Pitcher and then serve to shot glasses.

Instructions: First, add enough ice to your pitcher to keep your drink col. Add the sweet and sour mix to the pitcher. Then add the tequila, rum and vodka. Inmediately, add the curaçao. And your last step is to add the seven up.

Notes:Enjoy your mix in shot glasses. Notice that extreme drunkenness can occur.

                    1/2 fl oz. Lime Juice

                    4-5 fl oz. Grapefruit Soda

Glassware: Anchor Hocking Glass. 

Instructions: Do a salted ring to your glass. Add ice and then the lime juice to your glass. Add tequila and then add your grapefruit soda. Stir promptly.

                      1 cup of lemon juice

                      1 cup of water

                      4 cups of cold water

Glassware: A pitcher and whatever kind of glass you like.

Instructions: Add 1 cup of water and the sugar to a saucepan and heat until sugar is dissolved. Add the syrup, the lemon juice and the 4 cups of cold water into a pitcher. Add some ice cubes to keep chill and enjoy.

                      4 fl oz. club soda

Glassware: Anchor Hocking Glass or whichever glass you will use.

Instructions: Add lime juice and then add club soda. Stir in the glass.

Notes: This mix will be very hard for just drinking and not sweet like a good old lemonade should be.

                     4 fl oz. Orange Juice

Glassware: Anchor Hocking Glass

Instructions: Put some ice cubes into your Highball class. Add vodka and then add the orange juice then stir well. Enjoy cold!

                     4 fl oz. Tonic Water

Glassware: Anchor Hocking Glass or Tall Highball Glass.

Instructions: Put some ice into your highball glass and pour the 2 fl oz. of Vodka. Add the 4 fl oz. of Tonic Water. Enjoy.

Garnish: Add a lemon slice!
